The Smart City Expo Barcelona 2024 event took place in Barcelona between 5 and 7 November 2024, featuring a presentation of the SAFOOS project developments at the conference ‘Navigating the Diverse Landscape of Shared Micromobility’.

Participation in this event had several strategic objectives, namely to understand how developments within the AM2R project can add value to the smart city framework. The event also provided an opportunity to disseminate and present the results and product being developed within the SAFOOS project to large companies and experts in the field.

This presence also represented an important opportunity for networking, contacting other professionals in the sector and establishing strategic partnerships. At the same time, it was possible to keep up with the latest trends and technologies applied to smart cities, with a special focus on mobility, sustainability and digitalisation, through participation in lectures, workshops and expert panels.

Overall, participation in Smart City Expo Barcelona 2024 proved to be very positive, contributing to the generation of new ideas and initiatives in the field of innovation applied to smart cities.
